Join the winemaking team at Pedernales Cellars for a behind-the-scenes look at the blending process. David Kuhlken and Thys Smit will discuss the methodology for creating the GSM Melange, our version of a Rhone classic through the lens of Texas terroir. Guests will receive samples from each of the component wines for an upcoming GSM blend. After careful consideration of the character and flavor profile of each of the 3 wines, we invite you to play the role of winemaker for a day by creating different blends to see how they interact in differing proportions. Join us on Valentine's Day weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, February 14, 15, and 16) for a special paired tasting.  We are excited to combine our passion for exceptional 100% Texas wine with the romantic ambiance of the beautiful Pedernales views.  This year we are hosting an elevated tasting experience pairing our favorite wines with savory, salty, and sweet bites.  Enjoy a welcome wine and four paired wine and food samples.  Reservations are available for group sizes ranging from 2 to 6 people.
